Happy Easter (from a household of boys and one mommy who is alone in her love for pink)!

We decorated eggs today and I asked the boys why no one was putting an egg in the pink dye water. I explained that pink is not just a girl color on Easter...it's an everyone color on Easter. Barrett decided to try it out, but obviously regretted his decision, because when it was time to decorate the eggs with stickers, this is how the pink egg ended up. He just couldn't handle having a pink egg in his collection...so he covered it up.

My sister is on her 3rd boy too! She misses the girly stuff in life. I guess thats why you have to have tons of friends other wise you go crazy!! Not that boys aren't fabulous too! I have another list of photography questions for you! Don't you love me??!!

That's funny. Count your blessings, I suppose. You could have a son who likes to dress up as fairies and princesses and then have to fork out a bunch of money to buy manly costumes to appease your husband's ideas of how a little boy should play.

Jeaner, you need to come visit my house. It's all about pink here. At just 2, Sophie already knows pink and is picking it out to wear!

I love it! Love it! Pink reminds me of my sister-in-law and her three girls who came to pick up Greg, Andrew, and me at the Chicago airport. EAch of them was decked out in pink. I thought how funny it was that it was so normal for them, but because I am a mother of a boy it is not normal for me. Pink was on these girls every day I was there (or so it seemed).

That is so funny because When we did easter eggs my girl kept arguing about who got to put there egg in the pink next. Kate hogged the pink, she did 6 eggs, 4 were pure pink and 1 was yellow and pink, and the other was purple and pink. I kept saying why don't you try some other colors. She said she just wanted pink. Of course haveing all girls we had to get the Sparkelly eggs kit too! Shaun's out voted in our family.
