what the?!?! that can't be right. i just checked on the last time i posted (before trav's last semi-rude post about me) and it said july 3rd. really? wow...this summer has been brutal on the smith spot blog.
enough about the "busyness" of this summer and straight to the point.
travis and i have been married TEN years today. if any of you know me, you know i am not one to write about mushy and personal things. but today, I DON'T CARE. i have been married to the most amazing person for ten years and i am going to shout it out to the world how much i love him!!! these ten years have flown by and if the next 60 years (actually, i hope i don't live that long) are anything like these last ten years, then i feel like the luckiest girl alive.
maybe my crazed love profession comes from the fact that our ten year anniversary is today and i am in UTAH and he is in MICHIGAN. how is that for SUCKY.
anyway, i love you trav and HAPPY TEN YEARS!!!

I love the mushy side of Jean! I am also liking Travis' new dew! Is that ok for me to say? He was talking to his deacons in church on Sunday, and I said to Joel, "Who is that?" Joel said... "Travis... DUH!" Anyways... he looks so different! Happy Anniversary! You two are the definition of what married couples should work for. Congratulations, and thanks for your example!!!

Reading this blog made me realize something - we (Holly and Jean) have been friends for over 10 years (obviously Jason and Travis have been longer). I don't know why that struck me all of a sudden - I hadn't thought about it before. I can't even imagine how many awesome memories and experiences we would have missed out on if we hadn't been friends for the past 10 years. You guys are the best! Happy anniversary!! How was that for the mushy side of Holly?
10 years! and I thought Greg and I were doing amazing with 4 years--yes, blissful years like yours and Travis. Isn't it wonderful to be married to good guys? Congrats!!
